I came to Bonchon after a long time and I still think itβs fantastic! Great quality chicken, very crunchy and juicy! I also ordered the buldak and it was very spicy and saucy and good. Owner was really friendly and the service was good as well. Clean spot and just an overall nice place to dine in.

I ordered soy and Korean spicy, but they looked and tasted the same! The food was really bad and I felt like I wanted to throw up. Second, your takoyaki is so hard! Itβs like itβs so old that you just keep heating it up until itβs too hard to eat. Itβs not worth the money. Iβm never going back! Iβm even scared to try another bonchon anymore. I should have read the reviews first before ordering coz we all have same reviews and Iβm not kidding!!!!!!!

I ordered 10 pieces of chicken tenders to go, half soy garlic and half spicy. When I got home eight minutes later, the breading was so soggy it slid off the tender. It was not saucy or crispy at all and the tenders were skinny and bland. My husband and I were both so hungry and we were disappointed. Please do better. For 28$? Not worth it.

Had lunch at Bonchon in Newark. We ordered the drumstick lunch meal, and you get 4 drumsticks with a side coleslaw or fries. You can choose the type of sauces. For first timers, I recommend the mild sauce as the spicy sauce might be a little too spicy. Good size drumsticks and cooked to order, so they were juicy and piping hot. The waitress was very helpful in recommending what to get and what not to get. I assume the restaurant gets busier at night...and that would make sense since they serve alcohol. Korean fried chicken would be fantastic with a cold beer.

The food is delicious and the portions are generous. There were 4 adults in our group and we shared a medium combo and itβs plenty of food for us. The restaurant was very clean, spacious, very well maintained and tastefully decorated. The big screen TVs and bar are great for sports hangouts. Friendly services made the experience even more enjoyable. Convenient location. Plenty of parking. Weβll definitely visit again. Highly recommended!
